About Ahimsa Movement

Ahimsa cows and cow protection embody the principles of non-violence and compassionate care for cows. In this practice, both cows and bulls are looked after throughout their lives, ensuring their well-being until they pass away. They are engaged in their natural work, allowing them to live fulfilling lives according to their innate instincts. Cow protection involves providing a nurturing environment that includes organic and chemical-free feeding, clean shelters, regular veterinary care, and protection from harm. This approach emphasizes the importance of upholding the dignity and welfare of cows and bulls, while also promoting the conservation of indigenous cow breeds and addressing challenges in modern agriculture.

When it comes to the term "Cow Protection," different individuals tend to have different interpretations. Some may associate "protection" with endangered species and prioritize the conservation of other animals like whales, assuming that cows do not require special attention. Others may perceive it as a form of animal worship or reverence due to the association with the term "sacred cow."

However, it is important to recognize that the principle of cow protection extends beyond religious connotations. It is rooted in the belief that all living beings, including cows and other animals, deserve protection from slaughter and violence inflicted by humans. This perspective acknowledges that all creatures, like ourselves, possess souls and are beloved children of Divine. Consequently, the act of slaughter can be seen as a tragic form of harm and loss of life.

By emphasizing the concept of cow protection, it is not intended to diminish the value or well-being of other species. Instead, it highlights the significance of extending compassion, respect, and non-violence to all living entities, including cows, due to their intrinsic worth and connection to the Divine.
